About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will lead the facilitation of core face-to-face training for our client-facing workforce, supporting their ongoing professional development at HenderCare.

 

In this role you will expect to:

 

  • Drive the design, development, coordination, and delivery of operationally focused learning and development programs for team members across various platforms, including classroom, workplace, and online settings.

  • Manage, support, and evaluate team member learning through a diverse range of tools and assessment methodologies to ensure effective capability development.

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute learning strategies, policies, plans, and initiatives that align with organisational objectives and workforce development goals.

  • Provide targeted training to team members based on identified needs in care plans, ensuring initial competency and ongoing compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care in an environment characterised by limited resources, competing priorities, and organisational change, while maintaining a focus on service excellence.

  • Stay informed on industry best practices in learning, assessment, and work-related competencies, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of key organisational programs and initiatives.

  • Be prepared to travel interstate (with all expenses covered) to deliver face-to-face training for team members outside of South Australia, ensuring consistent training across regions.

 

About You

We are looking for innovative and passionate educators who show a strong commitment to high-quality learning, training, and assessment. You will maintain current clinical practice approaches informed by evidence-based research and innovative practices to deliver relevant and updated curricula.

 

You’ll also bring:
 

  • Proven experience in a Clinical Educator or similar role, with a strong background in supporting workforce development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in content creation, learning facilitation, and assessment methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to exercise initiative and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of computer literacy and adaptability to new technology platforms and learning management systems.

 

Essential Qualifications


You must hold:
 

  • A tertiary qualification in Nursing

  • Be registered as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA

  • Completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
