Hendercare are looking for a passionate, dynamic and client centred Physiotherapist who can bring initiative and new ideas to our multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with members of the community with varying disabilities and be motivated by purpose, growth and making a meaningful impact. Physiotherapy is critical to the Allied Health services we provide here at HenderCare, and we’re currently seeking a Physiotherapist who has some experience or an interest working in paediatrics and/or adults to join our team. The Physiotherapy team at Hendercare is focused on ensuring our clients are provided with high-quality goal-based therapeutic care informed by evidence-based research.

About the Role
As the Physiotherapist, you will provide evidence based, high quality care to clients of varying ages, aiming to improve safety, mobility and meaningful engagement to improve a person’s quality of life. You have a unique opportunity to work with clients in their own homes and provide expert assessment and advice regarding falls and balance, exercise interventions, mobility related equipment and safe transfers. You will collaborate with experienced clinicians who possess extensive field knowledge and receive support from management dedicated to developing your skills and advancing your clinical career.
To be successful for this role you will demonstrate the ability to:
- Independently manage a clinical caseload, including clients with complex needs, while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
- Conduct comprehensive Physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations, providing effective therapy intervention, strategies and recommendations to enhance client function, safe mobility and transfers, and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with families, health professionals, and service providers to ensure holistic care.
- Assess and prescribe relevant assistive technology that support people with disabilities in maintaining their safety and independence when mobilising.
- Ensure timely response to referrals, maintain accurate records, and meet service delivery targets in line with HenderCare's policies and standards.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development to enhance service delivery outcomes.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including at least 3 years’ experience working as a mid-senior clinician.
- AHPRA registered, including membership to APA (or eligible to register).
- Demonstrated experience working in paediatrics-focused or adult therapeutic care.
- Some experience working within the NDIS.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
