We are seeking an experienced Return to Work Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis. In this rewarding role, you will support injured workers to remain at work or return to work safely and as soon as practicable following a workplace injury. You will develop and implement Return to Work Plans, coordinate with treating practitioners and other stakeholders, and ensure compliance with legislation and organisational policies.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Services & Governance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Return to Work Plans, coordinating with treating practitioners, allied health providers, and other key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Other responsibilies will include:
- Coordinating claim-related decision-making to ensure timely progression and proactive management of each case.
- Identifying and managing risks to prevent recurrence of injury.
- Assist in the resolution of issues or disputes related to return-to-work process.
- Monitor recovery progress and adjust return-to-work strategies as needed to support optimal outcomes.
- Coordinate effective communication and consultation legal representatives where necessary.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be someone who is passionate about keeping staff safe, and making a meaningful impact supporting emploees through their recovery.
To be successful in this role you will be required to have:

A minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in workplace health and safety.

Knowledge of workers’ compensation and return-to-work legislation.

An understanding of injury management and rehabilitation processes.

Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to interpret medical certificates and provider reports.

High attention to detail with strong record-keeping and organisational skills to managing competing priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant systems

A qualification in workplace safety is desirerable.
