Our Service Delivery Teams are the critical link to connect our amazing clients with our dedicated support workers, who provide exceptional support services and quality care. With expansion of the business, and welcoming new clients to HenderCare, we currently have an opportunity available for an exceptional customer service specialist to join our Service Delivery team as a Rostering Officer!

About the Role
As part of the Service Delivery team, you will form part of one of the most important teams in our organisation. At its core, this dynamic and fast-paced teamwork in a call-centre style environment to ensure the work you do positively impacts the lives of our clients and allows them to live as independently as possible. In this After-Hours role you will be required to work Monday-Thursday from 4:30PM-12:00AM.
Overall, you can expect to:

Facilitating a rapid response to fill the immediate scheduling of workers for rosters, according to client agreements and care plans and communicating amendments with relevant clients and field workers.

Respond to all relevant enquiries, including responding to scheduling queries and gaps in a timely manner, usually in real-time, and being a first point-of-contact for field workers in an after-hours capacity.

Maintain, in an immediate capacity, client rosters in HenderCare’s rostering system and amend as necessary.

Identify and apply effective, efficient, and cost-neutral rostering practices in line with the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award (Award).

Proactively ensure that rosters are operating effectively and that variations do not impact other areas negatively.
About You
We are looking for engaging, energetic, and passionate people who are experienced working in a fast-paced customer-focused position with a commitment to the delivery of efficient and high-quality services. The ability to show initiative and being confident in your own skills and abilities, including being able to priorities your workload and work with tight deadlines with relative autonomy, will allow you to thrive in what can be a challenging environment.
You will also bring:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and relevant stakeholders.
- Dedication to being a team player in a proactive and supportive workplace culture.\
- Strong organisation skills.
- Experience within the community care sector, rostering/call-centre environment, will be advantageous.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of complex electronic rostering/scheduling systems will also be advantageous.
