We’re looking for a motivated and strategic Relationship Manager to join our growing team in Melbourne. This role focuses on business development and creating meaningful partnerships that support growth and ensure high-quality care and support services for our clients.

About the Role

Working closley with the state manager, as the Relationship Manager, you’ll be the face of HenderCare in your region, representing us in key forums, strengthening partnerships, and driving business growth. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver seamless client experiences while actively engaging with hospitals, healthcare providers, retirement villages, and community networks.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with external partners, including hospitals, GPs, allied health providers, and community organisations

  • Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to growth strategies

  • Promoting services to potential referrers through presentations, events, and regular engagement

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure service offerings meet client needs

  • Maintaining accurate records of engagement activities and outcomes

  • Monitoring market trends and providing insights to inform strategy

  • Regular travel across Melbourne to meet with potential clients and partners

 

About You

You’re a confident communicator, skilled relationship builder, and natural networker with a talent for spotting opportunities. With a strong background in business development and stakeholder engagement, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about connecting people with services that matter.

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in business or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (health, aged care, disability, or community services preferred)

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to develop rapport and build trust across a wide range of stakeholders

  • A strategic mindset and growth-focused approach

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
