Occupational Therapists are critical to the Allied Health services we provide here at HenderCare. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an engaged, motivated and client-centred Senior Occupational Therapist to join our growing Victorian team. We are seeking applicants with adult caseload experience who can take initiative, foster strong stakeholder relationships, and help expand our brand footprint across Victoria. This role offers flexible work arrangements, access to newly fitted clinical spaces, and the opportunity to contribute strategically to team development and service growth in a senior capacity.

About the Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you’ll not only deliver high-quality, evidence-based care, but you’ll also actively contribute to building our service capacity across Victoria. This includes developing and maintaining strong partnerships with local providers, support coordinators, plan managers, and other referral sources. You will work both autonomously and collaboratively while enjoying flexible working hours, modern clinic facilities, and a structured career advancement pathway supported by clinical leadership and professional development planning.
To be successful for this role you will demonstrate the ability to:
- Independently manage a clinical caseload, including clients with complex needs, while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
- Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations, providing effective strategies and recommendations to enhance client function, safety, and participation in daily activities.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with families, health professionals, and service providers to ensure holistic care.
- Assess and prescribe assistive technology and home modifications that support people with disabilities in safely engaging in their daily occupations.
- Ensure timely response to referrals, maintain accurate records, and meet service delivery targets in line with HenderCare's policies and standards.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives, service development projects, and continuous improvement activities to enhance service delivery outcomes.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, including experience working as a mid-senior clinician with 3 years of experience working with NDIS.
- AHPRA registered, including membership to OTA (or eligible to register).
- Demonstrated experience working in paediatrics or adults-focused therapeutic care with significant experience within the NDIS.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
- Evidence of mentoring, team leading, or supervising staff is advantageous but not essential.
