About the role

We are looking for experienced and qualified, Youth and Mental Health Support Workers to provide services to our clients living around Perth.

This role is suitable for applicants looking for either casual, full time or part time contracts, based on your availability. 

 

In this role you will be offered shifts Monday to Sunday. You will be responsible for various activities that may include mentoring, social support and transport. Services are currently in the south of the river, and suburbs can include Wandi, Maddington, Kelmscott, and Rockingham. 

We offer competitive pay rates, paid weekly, and our team of coordinators are available to support you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.

 

Our ideal candidate

You will have:

  • A Completed Qualification,  
    • Certificate 3, 4, or Diploma in Youth Work
    • A Qualification in Psychology or Mental Health (Cert IV and above)
    • Diploma of Community Services
    • experience providing services to people under the age of 18 years old.
    • reliable transport and an Australian or International driving licence.

Applicants who do not meet the above criteria, will not be considered for this role. 

 

Our Ideal candidate will also have or be willing to obtain the following: 

  • a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
  • a current Provide CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
  • a current National Police Check
  • a current Working with Children Check
  • a current NDIS screening check
